OUR FAMILY
The 1960s.
In the late 1940's, Mills Andrews started farming in Northwest Ohio. A small plot, a few buildings and a house began a farming operation which would span over 60 years and four generations. Planning, intelligence and a little luck allowed him to produce the high quality grains sought after by livestock farmers, brokers and food manufacturers.
When Mills' son, Eugene, was given control he incorporated Andrews Farms and as its President continued the tradition of producing high quality products. During this time Andrews Farms, Inc. grew to over 1200 acres.
Early last decade, Eugene's son, Edward was given the mantle of President. Aware of how times were again changing, Ed embarked on a renewed mission to open new markets. Organic crops.
